San Cipriano Ballroom

I was actually there at the event and the owner did not just single your son out. He asked your son many times to tuck in his shirt and HE just walked away so the owner had to go tell him at your table. You need to stop thinking that the whole world is out to get your son because of the color of his skin. There have been many events there with african americans and they have no complaints at all. You need to ask your son how he was acting.

I have been to various events and I have to say, this is one of the best I have been too. The people were great and courteous and the ballroom was beautiful. It shows that they took alot of time to make sure that we were satisfied with the ballroom and it is appreciated. The price was right to, the owners worked with me on everything and they were also very courteous. I would highly recommend booking this ballroom, you'll find that they are very down to earth and great people.

I recently traveled to EL Paso for a family Wedding. The wedding was at the San Cipriano Ballroom. It was the worst experience I have ever had. The owner to the establishment walked over to my African American son (adopted) who was sitting near us and began to yell at him. He told him if he wouldnt tuck in his shirt he will kick him out. The way he spoke to my son was inappropriate. He probably didnt think he was apart of our family. I believe in following the rules to every establishment, but the way he spoke to my son was unproffesional. The owner needs to learn how to talk to customers especially if he relies on word of mouth for his business. After confronting him the owner walked away from us. I told my son to go to the restroom and tuck his shirt in. The owner folloed my son to the resroom, not knowing that my wife was walking right behind him. My wife saw the owner walk up to my son and she overheard him tell my son, " your going to have to explain to the police why your shirt is not tucked." My wife again confronted the owner and agian he walked away. He refused to apologize for the way he spoke to my son. I dont know what his problem was (racist?) with my son? He was rude and needs to take some customer service classes. The owner's wife and bartender both apologized to me. The bartender even told me that the owner is a close friend and that is his attitude! I dont recommend this establishment. If your looking for a place to have a wedding or party, avoid this place!!
