Dental Care
To make caring for your pet as easy as possible, EEPAH offers a safe, trusted online pharmacy & store through our friends at Vetsource. In our online store, you can find products that we don’t carry at our hospital. There are also dental health products and prescription foods. The East El Paso Animal Hospital online store & pharmacy provides a safe, veterinarian-approved alternative to other online pharmacies.
Vaccination
Saturdays and Sundays, we will no longer see medical cases after 3 pm. We will continue to accept vaccinations, anal gland expressions, laser treatments, nail trims, and other simple procedures until 4:30 pm. Patients will no longer be able to sign-in after 4:30pm.
Behavioral Counseling
Pets that have been spayed and neutered seem to live much longer. Besides the physical benefits, spaying and neutering helps with behavioral problems as well. Without neutering, your young male dog may start marking his territory inside your home or begin to act more aggressive. For females, early spaying prevents her from going into heat.

We offer screening tests for heart murmurs, congenital abnormalities, and cardiac diseases that show up later in life, as well as specific cardiac tests such as echocardiograms. An echocardiogram is an ultrasound of the heart, which allows your pets’ veterinarian to measure how thick the heart’s muscular walls are, how well the heart contracts, and how well the valves are working. Dr. Schoemann has nominated Maisey as a Pet Hero! This Great Dane is a strong companion and is now undergoing chemotherapy. Maisey is an AKC Champion, competes in obedience & other dog sports, and is a working therapy dog and regularly visited the hospitals of Providence Hospitals before COVID-19 happened.
