For the area and the price, the complex was probably the best looking. It's clean, and they put new siding and balconies. The inside of the apartments are old. The carpet was old, brown and gross. The Kitchen was AWFUL. The paper was peeling off the cabinets because they are from the 1970's!

The worst part of this complex is the Manager, Pierre. He is arrogant and a chauvinist. He's very unprofessional in that he gossips with some of the tenants about other tenants. He is borderline Nazi with the rules. friends came to visit a tenant and sit by the pool and they brought their 4 lb dog. The dog wasn't barking, it wasn't in the pool, yet Pierre felt the need to come to the pool and tell us animals were not allowed. Seriously?!

He watches everyone coming and going. A neighbor had a guest stay with them for a short while, and he threatened to kick them out!

He actually recorded one of my neighbors complaining to him about how he blatantly lied about something, so he could play it back for the main office. He was recording so of course he was on his best behavior! He's an awful man.

So if you want an old apartment, with big brother watching your every move...then have at it. Don't say you weren't warned!!!

If your not white don't waste your time this apartment he will target you and always expect some kind of notice from him. I have been renting for 8 year's this is my second apartment. I have been living here la funta apartment complex for 3 years I get the feeling the apartment manger is racist.
