Big time pain signing up and it is not a good place to go with the hopes of finding some significant help. They can give you some food. You can get quite a bit depending on how many people live in the home as well or however many are in need. They gather quite a bit of information from you which I think is kind of ridiculous given the fact that so many that need the assistance do not have thier lives in order as they are primarily homeless or in a situation like I was/am in.

They only give you a bunch of food 3 times/yr but offer bread every week. Well, they used to. I went this week and they were completely out "until further notice". I contacted a local pantry to use them and they told me they offer their stuff to Crisis house and another organization so when I saw this sign at the Crisis house door I was very surprised. This makes this service worthless for the week.

I had gone there in the past, once, and they actually had some milk which was very awesome!

All in all Crisis house has helped but in a very minor way and with huge inconvenience. I would suggest looking for local food pantry's and trying them out. While some offer food that has been expired by 2 years, which is absolutely horrible, most of their food is decent and within date cause it is canned.
