My brother-in-law was a patience at St E Edgewood. When he was discharged his nurse told us I done with him he can leave I said doesn't he need to be pushed out in wheelchair and with her nasty attitude she said I don't care I'm done with him.

The staff is super nice and helpful. Although I found it strange that I couldnt get a tylonol from anyone during my visit I had a super throbbing headach from my dentist appointment right before. No one seemed able to give me a simple tylonol. Weird!

St. Elizabeth Medical Center Edgewood Ky is momopolizing northern KY healthcare industry. Alot of nurse are leaving to work else where due to no support from managers and above. I went on medical leave and was told if I return within a year I would be guarenteed a job upon returning. However, before I was able to return they said I was non-compliant while on medical leave by not informing them of doctor appointments. This was not true did everything and more. Also I gave a 2 week notice in 2008 to work at another hospital, then returned back to St. E somehow Human Resource Director stated my previous manager said I was unemployable, again not true and feel this is completely unacceptable. I still send my resume on any jobs available since they own everything in my area, but I get immediately a email stating other canidates are being reviewed with better experience this is from the Director Barbra Estes who I dealt with previous arguing my case. I feel I have been black balled and not given a chance due to their lack of accurate information. Have no idea how they achieved Magnet Status, they do not treat or respect their nurses....
