Edgewater Restaurant

The food was great, the waitress was too loud and treated you like a 2 year old. The tables were too close together, you couldn't even back up in your chair without hitting another table. but I guess some people like that claustraphobic atmosphere where people can eavesdrop on your conversations.

Best crabcakes & Crab soup we have EVER eaten. We drive from Gainesville, VA to eat here -- more than 100 miles!

My husband took me there for my birthday right before it started to snow. The crab dip is the best ever. The crab cakes are to die for. The atmosphere and workers was excellent.

I HAVE BEEN COMING TO EDGEWATER FOR A FEW YEARS NOW MY FAM INTRODUCE ME TO THIS SPOT...I BRING MY DATES HERE....LOL......EVERYTIME I THINK OF A DELICOUS CRAB CRAKE EXTRA LARGE....I THINK OF EDGEWATER.....MOST PEOPLE I'VE SPOKE WITH MENTION THAT TINBUCKTWO WAS THE BEST NOT REMOTELY....TRUE...GET TO EDGEWATER RESTURANT.AND HAVE A CRAB CAKE AND THE SALAD BAR....THE BEST....

This is the best place ever to get jumbo crab cakes. My husband and I live directly behind the restaurant & there are days when he just sits out back and savors the smell till I get home so he can take me over to eat! I tell everyone about this place. Everywhere we go we try to see what locals THINK are the best crab cakes in their town but none have ever compared to our own Edgewater Restaurant! DC

My husband and I have been going to the Edgewater Restaurant for years. All of their seafood is delicious, however my favorite is the "oysters", they a truly succulent and the best I have ever eaten anywhere. My husbands favorite is the "crabcake". We have never been disappointed in the food or the service.

I recommend this restaurant to everyone. I also take people there all the time. Once I introduce them to the restaurant they are hooked and tell their friends. Everyone is so friendly, Debbie is the best! I love the cream of crab soup and the jumbo lump crab cakes. I took my Aunt and Uncle there on Sunday, they loved it!

The jumbo lump crab cakes at Edgewater cannot be beat by any other restaurant - ANYWHERE! I've had some people counter that G&M's crab cakes are the best but once they try Edgewater's they agree. If you don't live near Edgewater (just south of Annapolis), I can assure you they are worth the trip.

Great Seafood - (even if the crabs aren't from MD) The lump crabcakes are to die for!!! Those of us from Edgewater have tried to keep this place to ourselves with little luck!!!
