Veneers
– Gums, like teeth, often benefit from cosmetic treatments to address esthetic concerns. These may include asymmetry in the gums, gum recession, and “gummy smiles”. The gums frame the teeth. Without proper shape and form, new crowns or Veneers can just look bad no matter how gifted your restorative specialist is. Many times, excess gums can remain after orthodontic therapy resulting in outwardly very small, unaesthetic teeth. These issues can be resolved to produce truly outstanding, great looking teeth.
Crowns
Crown lengthening is a simple procedure that exposes more of a tooth’s structure for either cosmetic reasons or to prepare a tooth for the placement of a crown. The process involves recontouring the gum tissue and, when needed, adjusting the support that holds the tooth in place to expose more of the tooth.
Bridges
Implant supported bridges are used when three or more adjacent teeth are missing. The two outermost missing teeth are replaced with dental implants; these implants are then used to anchor a porcelain bridge. Implant supported bridges are functional and esthetic, and typically last longer and feel more natural than traditional bridges.

While no gum procedure can be considered permanent given variation of patient presentation and medical background, it is very effective at resolving gum recession.
Tooth Extractions
During your dental implant surgery, your mouth will be completely numbed with local anesthesia so you won’t feel any pain while we work. Dependent on your particular needs, different levels of sedation drugs can also be utilized for relaxation purposes. In the hours after the procedure, as the local anesthetic wears off, you will begin to experience some discomfort. This is typically mild and most patients describe the recovery from dental implant surgery as being less uncomfortable than the recovery from a tooth extraction. We will provide you with aftercare instructions to minimize any discomfort.
Bone Grafting
This patient came to my office with cavity-riddled teeth supporting a failing bridge. Through advanced implant techniques involving bone grafting, implant surgical guides, and refined prosthetic techniques, the patient was rehabilitated functionally and esthetically.

Invisalign Orthodontics
