. I was not prepared for the stressful, disappointing and patronizing experience with this breeder. It has been one of the longest years. What started as excitement in adding a furbaby to my home has caused so much stress and shock. Based on their written promises and assurances to me, I thought I would be getting a purebred miniature Basset Hound, which they claim is a new breed that they “made” by ‘breeding down” and not mix breeding. They also claimed in writing to me that I would wait only 3-12 months on their preorder list by stating in writing “The information on our website under the buying process very clearly states the estimated wait time is 3-12 months from the time the pre order is placed.” Well, it has been almost 11 months and I moved from #24 to #21 on the waitlist. I have very little preferences so it is them not me. I asked for a refund of my $882.75 and they said the only way to even be considered for a refund, I would have to forfeit my rights to ever getting a puppy just to get an answer on whether or not they would give me a refund. If they say no, I am out my money and a puppy!!! Just by calling into question the contract terms and seeking advise from the Iowa Attorney General they refuse all contact me with, don't send me whelping notices or any emails, and I assume I have been removed from the preorder list as they won't answer my emails. No money, no puppy because I wanted more information that I got on their sporadic emails and changing website.
