These collectors will go to any lengths to get their money--relentless and don't care about anything other than getting money

This company really is a terrible one to deal with. My Amex account went to them as the 4th company I had to deal with. I made all my payments as promised to each company I dealt with and each on was bad in their own way but this one is by far the worst! I was still making payments to Dominion Group when Sessoms and Rogers acquired my account and they filled a law suit against me saying I was not making payments on my amex account when I clearly was with a different company. I sent them all my paper work and they are still charging me for the court fees (about 350.00 extra dollars). The young man I have been working with, JONAS is very arrogant and rude. He sounds like he is barely out of high school and gets a kick out of trying to make people mad. I feel that his goal is not to get payments made but to make jokes at your expense (like he evens knows me to place judgement) and actually laughed all the way through one of our conversations. Very unprofessional! He is trying to force me to make payments I am not comfortable with and after a year of every payment being made on time with them are threating me with another lawsuit if I do not double my payments. He also claims amex does not offer settlements. I have asked how much money it would take to be done with them and he tells me they can only accept the full balance. I have been calling for 2 days now to set up new payment arrangements and have left a messages with no response.

These are quite possibly the most unintelligent people I have ever had to deal with. The lawyers are crooks and will pull some intense tricks to make you lose your case with the arbitor. Go to court if you get sued by them, especially if they are out of SOL. Even if they are out of SOL they will send you a request for admissions, take them straight to court, appeal it, whatever you have to do. If you have a Jury on your side you will most likely win, every one hates bill collectors. Ill have more to add later I am sure.

I have been dealing with this ...

I have been dealing with this firm for over a year now and it is by far worse than dealing with a normal collection agency. I have received letters from them threatening to sue, called and worked out something with someone, and then they would sue anyway claiming I never made any attempt at all. About every two to three months I have to cancel checks thru the bank because the claim to not have received my checks and they again threaten a lawsuit. I have to call them, who give me the run around, have been promising online payment options for over a year and still nothing is done to resolve the issue. I spend more in check cancellation fees when in all honesty, I think they are told by the owners to throw them away occasionally in hopes to proceed with the lawsuit and get money faster. I'm to the point where they will start getting my checks thru registered mail, then they won't be able to cheat on that.
