Sugar Run Kennels

We are incredibly picky about who keeps our fur babies when we go out of town and Sugar Run Kennels are our first choice. Donna didn't hesitate when I called her up and asked to see the facilities. They were clean and well maintained. Donna's right, it's harder on us than it is on the dogs! When we drop our boys off, they don't hesitate to go with Donna and her staff. I know that they're well taken care of and I would recommend using Sugar Run! I explored all the options available, except for in-house pet sitting, and I found SRK to be the cleanest and spacious with the most caring staff. Trust me, I nearly had a panic attack leaving them in the care of a non-family member for the first time, but I'm very pleased to have chosen SRK. :)

I have taken my two dogs, a Rottie/Retriever mutt and a Bichon, to The Furry Palace for 3 years now both for grooming and for kennel stays. I have never had a bad experience. In fact, both my dogs are excited the minute I turn onto the street as they've come to know the turn and steep incline. They have never done that at any other groomer or kennel. Our dogs are our 4-legged children so we are extremely picky with where they are groomed and where they are kenneled. The owner will speak her mind. I'm ashamed to say, but we aren't as fastidious with the grooming on the Bichon as we should be and the owner has given me a respectful, but well-deserved scolding. The owner is passionate about dogs and cares for them very much. She isn't the cheapest groomer or kennel in town, but as a small business owner myself, I know you get what you pay for. I don't go cheap with my 2-legged kid, and I want the best for my furry kids. Furry Palace is simply the best.
