Flores Mexican Restaurant

The restaurant is kid friendly. All of the wait staff have always greeted us with a smile and great service. We've eaten there with the whole family on several occasions. Highly recommend it.

there food is too hot. I like flavorful mexican food with a little hotness, but from the salsa to the charro beans its all too hot to eat.

I eat here for lunch with my coworkers at least once a week. Normally the food is average, and the service pretty poor. Today was bad food, and terrible service. I ordered the fish tacos - grilled. They came ten minutes after everyone else's meal, and no apology was offered. As soon as they were set on the table I could smell that something was wrong. I gave them the benefit of the doubt ad tried a bite of each taco. Gross! Tasted like bad fish and soap. I covered the plate with my napkin, but nobody ever asked how the meal was or offered to take my plate. At the end of the meal I was presented a check for the full amount. I asked if they were serious. The waitress said "What? You don't want to pay?" I responded that the tacos were very late and also tasted terrible. I asked to discuss the bill with the manager. The waitress never brought the manager and came back and said "You don't have to pay." I asked her if the manager was going to talk with me and she said "No" Then she offered me the following advice with a frown on her face, "Next time if you don't like it you should order them fried." I was flabbergasted. Boo on Flores. Too bad they won't be getting my business again. I probably was spending close to $100 a month there.

So good to have a quality restaurant in Dripping Springs. The enchiladas are great. The rice is not typical, but great. Wonderful flavor, and Hot salsa, not too tomato tasting. The service is great. Try it!
