The Meat House

The Meat House has a reputation in the NH seacoast region for offering great quality meat products with knowledgeable and friendly staff to assist. We ordered a 10 lb prime rib roast for pickup several days later. When we went to the location in Fiddlehead Farms they didn't seem to know anything about the order, and in fact, they hadn't even prepped it. In addition, they left almost as much fat on the outside of the roast as there was actual meat...which we obviously ended up paying for. At a professional butcher shop, this would not stand. The roast itself was tasty, but I can't recommend it based on that alone. I think The Meat House will continue to do well serving up their prepared steak tips, but they won't get our business when it comes to real meat.
