        Pugh's Service, Inc. was originally founded by Horace E. Pugh, Sr. as an automotive repair shop. The business also sold gasoline and was located for many years on the point at the intersection of Route 13 and State Street (now occupied by T.D. Bank). In the early 1990's we purchased the business known as Miller's Lawn Mowers and moved to that location (on Dover Leipsic Road behind Pizza Hut and across from Home Depot). While continuing to offer towing and automotive repair, we now also repair small engines and equipment. Pugh's Service also sells lawn mowers and lawn/garden equipment (trimmers, blowers, chain saws, etc.) and parts for this equipment. We are an authorized sales/service dealer for Toro, Bad Boy, Echo, and Columbia. We are authorized for the repair & service of equipment for Briggs & Stratton, Homelite, Tecumseh, Kohler, Kawasaki, Ryobi, Generac, MTD, etc. Contact us for a complete list of companies we service.         Very rude. Bad customer service. Will never go back. These people will leave you on hold for over 30 minutes and never check back. Laughed at me when I called to check on the status my lawn mower. I would rather buy a new one then deal with these people.

        I am writing this review for my 69 year old father. He is retired and lives on a fixed income. He has a 5 acre yard which is keeps looking like a golf course. He recently purchased a $150 part for his tractor from Pugh's. Turns out it was the wrong part, too big. He asked to return it, still in the original package, unopened. He offered to pay the shipping and restock fee. The manager/owner Ms. Patty Pugh refused. Their return policy, which is posted, states at managements discretion. Now the part that really angers me is, she offered to take the part back for 50% off, if he where to purchase, for $200, the entire assembly piece which is more than he needed. So for $275, he could have his part to fix his tractor. My father has frequented this business for years. Needless to say, he will no longer. Ms. Pugh, nice job of taking care of your customers.
