The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta participates in setting national monetary policies and supervises several commercial banks. The bank coordinates with government agencies and nonprofit organizations. The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta operates research and financial services divisions that maintain the Americas Center. It is a part of the Federal Reserve System.
