Magnuson Hotel Dixon

Worst place I've ever been. The front desk people were very rude and defensive ( one lady even barked back at me when I whispered about seeing a bug). Pool wasn't filled and there was nothing to do around the hotel- it was in the middle of nowhere. The rooms were very outdated and the bathrooms were the worst. The shower filled up with water, there was lipstick on our "clean" towels, and the toilet wouldn't flush. The best surprise was finding multiple bugs- dead and alive- under the pillows and in the sheets. Every single room in the hotel smelled of smoke and each room contained multiple ash trays ( yet there was a sign for no smoking and a $250 fee...) The night we stayed there was a big wedding party also staying at the hotel. From about midnight till 2am, all we could hear was yelling, loud laughing, and swearing. The front desk was called multiple times but nothing was done to mute the noise. Eventually, we called the cops (which the front desk was supposed to do after we complained three times). The noise did stop eventually. We are now trying to get our money back and will never stay there again. Our stay was so bad we debated leaving at 2am and driving home. Never, and I repeat, NEVER stay at this hotel....
