Capitol Manor Apartments

I loved this apartment building! I lived there for a year, but had to move due to getting a job in St. Louis. The staff were always kind and fixed things when asked. The building was kept very clean and I never had any problems with insects. The heat for the building (boiler/radiators) is controlled by the management, but I was never cold. Lastly, this neighborhood is really on the up swing. West Village has new shops and I always felt safe here! I would recommend living here!

This place is a joke,

Being an older person, i was use to having room, space, as well as my privacy.

not to mention not use in living with roaches.....ouch!

Before looking at this place I saw picture on internet, under historic.

I liked what I saw, not to mention believing everything she was telling me,

her name is Jena,

which in terms found out she dose not has cleans hands.....

I have caught this woman in so many lies,

I would ask her question about certain issues pertaining to the apartment.....

she assure me,

there's no kids in building,

no running down the hall,

roach problem has been taking care of,

no pets in this building

private parking

not to mention, she, and, her husband is there everyday around the clock.

her husband do the work,

she go's around throwing her weight around telling you what you can, and, can ot do in your own apartment.

even though you are paying your rent.

When the holidays came around,

I was to scare to cook dinner, let alone have family members over to eat.

the place was, or, still is invested in roaches.

It's sad when you keep your place clean, spotless, but, yet, you still see a roach.

it would be times where i can sleep thinking i see a roach.

I would have to go to the nearest hardwear store and buy roach spray, the gallon size, moth balls as well,

Not to mention I have to wear rubber gloves when applying poison,

the radiator is where they are coming from.

also had to buy cement.

to cemented down where they could'en come in.

I felt like i was living in a cage.

when the time came when my least was almost up,

I ran as fast as I could,

and,

move as far away as I could.

I move from Lake Orion to capital Manor,

why....?

cheaper rent.

word.....?

cheap rent is not worth it.

you get what you pay for,

cheap rent,

cheap results,

lesson learn

I move back in the suburbs, country setting,

I have a house now,

I have a peace of mind.

I have good income,

which in terms allow me to be flexible.

I don't have to deal with no body bull ###%^%&^^%##!@#^&

I found my dream home,

rent higher,

I have to pay for my own utilities,

one thing for sure....

I have a peace of mind,

and,

I can sleep at night,

I have my own stove, frig, dish washer, a basement with a washer, and, dryer,

which I don't have to pay.

I am back home
