We use a UL approved monitoring station for all of our monitored systems meaning: • UL mandates the number of operators on duty per shift. • UL mandates an uninterrupted power without power equipment. • UL requires two types of communications to communicate with emergency response authorities. • Unicom Protection uses: • Standard telephone dialing system • Direct ring supervised leased line • Cellular network • Long-range radio network • UL mandates that the central station be protected from fire and intrusion, including what the building is constructed from. • UL requires that 24 hour test signals be transmitted.
