Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Breakfast was great. More than enough. Service was also great.

I place an online order around six o'clock for a grill chicken salad and my ticket said it would be ready by 18:43. I arrived at the store at 18:45 and my order was not ready; I waited till around 19:15 to cancel my order, no apologies given or empathy shown! They have to my business if this is how they test their clients!

We are from Houston area and came in for a Dr appt and stopped here and was so disappointed!!!! I ordered roast and potatoes with Mac and cheese on the side. When it came out it has onions and Mac and cheese all over my plate . The waitress took it back to fix it and when she came out with it my roast beef was cold and so was my Mac and cheese. I asked to speak to the manager and he came over and talked to me but did not seem to care that I wasn't happy. I had also ordered some dumplings with my meal and that was the only thing that was good so I asked him for another order since I wasn't gonna get my main course the way I wanted it, but he never brought it out and neither did our waitress.
My husband ordered catfish with mashed potatoes and gravy. The catfish was hot and he said that it was in point, but the mashed potatoes had no flavor and was like they took boiled potatoes and mashed them up and put gravy over it. The amount of water coming out of the potatoes was crazy. I can say we both are very disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!
