Stan's Downtown Barbers

Looking SHARP with STAN THE MAN. - I needed a cut while in denver, and walked into this shop on champa. my last haircut wasn't good, so the i knew the barber was going to be challenged, and i needed the neat, groomed look. there are 2 barbers here, and stan martinez wasn't busy so i was directed to his barber- chair. turned out to be a 6 - STAR haircut! - groovy. stan listened carefully on how i wanted it, and took extra effort to do it that way. first, he threw a black cape over me, put some cloth around my neck to catch stray hairs, and started barbering, wetting it down with water spray, then cutting and trimming, to get it the right length, and water-sprayed it a few more times to keep it fresh-wet as he trimmed. when about right length, he put some creamy gel stuff in it that gave it control, and then used blow-dryer and styling for 5 min or so to get it looking real spiffy. he then used warm shaving cream and a real razor to clean up the back of my neck and sideburns and around ears and then put some good-smelling after shave on it - gave it a real clean-cut look. he then did some extra trimming and combing, then finished me off with spraying some good smelling lotion on it to keep it looking well groomed and did some final combing to make it 100% sharp looking. stan really cared about me getting a great haircut, and took absolute pride in his job - his attitude with you is extra-ordinary! you won't get out of his barber chair without a sharp looking haircut and being really groomed up. this was the best haircut i had in 5 years!. stan is friendly and easy to talk to, and makes you feel comfortable. the barbershop takes appointments and walk-ins both, cost was $18 for a really groovy cut, and is located only a block from the 16th st. mall on champa, hours are like 8am to 4:30pm most days. if you're going to the floyd's 99 place and aren't totally satisfied with the cuts, try stan martinez at Downtown Barbers. my haircut has looked fantastic for the last 3 weeks, is easy to comb up and get in place, and i have got numerous compliments from women on how great it looks. i can't speak for the other barber's haircuts, but stan is the man for sharp looking haircuts and i guarantee you he will do you up right, check it out.
