La Pasadita Inn

Just plain awful. Our experience started with a basket of stale chips and watery salsa. I noticed on the menu that the first basket is free, subsequent chips are $2.95. Don't have to worry about that.



Service was lethargic and disinterested.



I ordered the "Westword Best of Denver" Tamale plate. Then we wait and wait and wait. I get through two flat Dos Equis and when the waiter asks me if I want a third beer, I say no I would like to get my food.



When the Tamale plate arrives, the tamales are so hard I can't cut them with a knife - they are literally like dried up sticks of wood. I send them back, the waiter doesn't argue or apologize. I ask for the check and the waiter tells me that I won't be charged for the Tamale plate. Well, that's good, because I had absolutely no intention of paying for them anyway.



There are some great Mexican restaurants in Denver, this place is hands down the worst Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. Skip it.

This is the best place for Huevos Rancheros and Fajitas. Get the fajitas whenever you come here you WILL want more. Great service too.
