As a retina specialty clinic, InSight Retina Consultants, P.C. must be able to meet the needs of their patients who must be examined within a day or so of experiencing symptoms as well as providing follow up care to our existing patients visiting the clinic. Their responsibility begins from the moment a patient notices visual symptoms such as floaters or flashes, or when an Optometrist, MD or DO recognizes that our patients may have a vitreoretinal condition, such as macular degeneration or retinal detachment. As part of their commitment to excellence in eye care, Dr. O'Connell stays up-to-date with the changes in the evolving field of medicine, and performs many leading-edge procedures within the comfort of his state-of-the-art facility, including A and B Scan ultrasonography, digital fluorescein angiography, Indocyanine green angiography, optical coherence tomography, color fundus photography, and the Humphrey visual field analysis.
