Elco Administrative Service

I had to file a claim through these people and it was about the worst experience in my life! One of their customers rear ended my truck causing damage to the back bumper and wrecking the front end of the car that hit me. I was told that the damage would be covered and paid for by ELCO. I took my truck down to have it repaired. On the last day of the repair work I was told that ELCO decided they would NOT cover the cost because they felt that the paint damage was a MANUFACTURING DEFECT! This was their opinion and they were sticking to it no matter what I said, what my body shop said and what my insurance people said. I ended up having to eat the cost for an accident I didn't cause. This place is as unethical as one could get. I told them I would be filing a claim in court and was told to do whatever I wanted and that they would no longer discuss the matter because it was a tiny little claim - tiny to them but not to a guy who has to foot the bill!

The person who made this decision is the top exec of the loss department so beware - unethical behavior runs all the way to the top.

Very poor unprofessional,unethical company. No transparency and accountability. Denies genuine claims, inflate "prior" damage estimates and untruthful. Not sure why this company continues to operate in this State of Colorado.
