WORST USED CAR DEALERSHIP EVER!

Luis said the dealership had done a full inspection of the vehicle prior to purchasing it. The bumper clips had been stripped so their service department super glued it on. 3 weeks later the bumper is barely hanging on as obviously super glue isnt a long-term fix. The front driver's side quater panel was not properly aligned and was hitting the quarter panel everytime the door was opened. I brought it to his attention and asked if it had been in an accident or if there was any body work done to the vehicle. At that point he told me he had no knowledge of one but mentioned he saw the carfax report from the seller who traded this vehicle in when purchasing another one. He said I could verify what he had seen and order a carfax report myself and it would be about $40. In hindsight, I wish I had. It was nearing their closing time and he said if I did order one I would have to return the following day. I had to work so decided against it and thought I could trust them. High pressure sales tactics littered Luis's entire ppresentation. Ultimately we purchased the vehicle with outrageous interest and higher than KBB retail price. Without any credit or much to put down on a car, we felt we had no choice but to a buy here/pay here

I contacted the dealership after the car failed emissions. No one would make an appointment with us until I spoke with the manager. It took 4 weeks including 2 physical visits to the dealership and a dozen phone calls before we finally reached the manager, Dana. She said they had no appointments left for the week but I could drop it off on Saturday morning so the mechanic could look at it. They refused a loaner car and furthermore would not commit to a timeframe they needed the car in their possession. I became ill and spent the night in the hospital, anable to bring the car at 9am Saturday morning (after waiting over a month to get an appointment). I called the manager to set up an actual appointment so the mechanic could evaluate what needed to be done with me, so I could rent a car and have a time frame for my rental company. She said I would need to come in the following Saturday and that was the best they could do. I told her we have already gotten 2 extensions on the temporary registration tags and the state will not permit a third. She said I should just drive on the expired plates until then because they have no mechanic during the week.

I reminded the manager it was their responsiblity to ensure the vehicle they sold would pass emmissions and I wasn't willing to drive on expired plates. After practically begging them, she said she had called the mechanic in and I could drop it off at 5pm. After 2 trips to emissions, 4 trips to the DMV, I must now take more time off of work to accommodate these people at A&B Auto. I inquired about the cosmetic items they had promised to address and she assured me they would fix them but the replacement items will come from one of their JUNKYARD VEHICLES. I asked about the body damage and she referenced the sales photos as well as the auction photographs (I thought it was a trade-in?) and she told me there was no dent on the quarter panel and thr bumper looked fine. Of course it looked fine, it looked fine to me too. When I opened the door and I could feel it grinding on the panel, the salesman hand-wrote on the contract the we understand there is body damage. Now they claim there was none and it is my fault so they refuse to fix it. The bumper was super glued on! And the quarter panel is not factory issued, after verifying with a carfax afterwards... the vehicle WAS in an accident. They will not cooperate and own up to their dishonesty. Thry have agreed to fix the minor interior issues (knob, console latch, etc) but blatantly disregarded the fact that the body was held together with superglue and it is now disfunctioning! I strongly advise anyone looking to buy a vehicle, steer clear of A&B Auto in Lakewood. They are liars, manipulators, and car sales scumbags.
