Overall

The day LPN makes her own times for a regularly scheduled maintenance IV, I have been waiting 2 days for her to bring an addt chair in for me stating it would be hard to find 1 while i'll saw 4 empty beds,initial intake was a dehuminizing experience.

The billing service of this nursing home is so incompetent, irresponsible and uncommunicative, that it will distract you from any feelings you may have about your disabled relative. The nursing and rehab care are often good to very good. The dietary service is out to lunch. For example, when my father was put on a strict low-salt diet [on the rehab side], they served him soup at every meal, and lox on Sunday. I have been managing my mother's bills [on the nursing home side] for several months. They started out by making a $9,000 error ["we misrecorded 4 months"]. It took months of arguing to get it right. They have a mysterious relationship with a company called Millennium Management, (305) 864-9191, who handles their billing. They will not tell me or their staff what the relationship is with Millennium Management- go ahead call them and ask. In April 2009, the director, Jeff Yankow, told me they would hold my mothers bed for 5 free days while she was in the hospital. Rebecca Rivera of Millennium Management told me she would not honor that unless I got it writing. When I asked Arent you one organizationdont you communicate with each other she wouldnt respond. Now we are disputing a nearly $2,000 charge. On January 2, Marquita, the LakeView billing person, called me at 8 AM to incorrectly tell me the January bill hadnt been paid.
