This gym doesn't even deserve one star. AS A PREGNANT WOMAN, YESTERDAY I GOT HUMILIATED BY A PERSONAL TRAINER, MORE INTERESTED IN GETTING MONEY OUT OF ME, THAN IN MY BABY AND ME.

Yesterday I had a "free session" with this personal trainer. This actually turned out to be a free brainwash session to force me to sign up for personal training sessions. Basically I sat with him and for 45 minutes, he was telling me that they will create for me a workout plan and nutrition plan, bla bla bla...what was shocking is that he was talking to me as I wasn't pregnant, that the goal would be to decrease my bodyfat of 15%, for me to have visible abs, and that I had to build a strong core etc etc...but isn't it dangerous for my baby to work on my core while I'm pregnant?!

I told him that I do not have money to sign up for personal training sessions, because obviously I am going to have a baby so I have other expenses. And that I signed up for this free personal training session, just because I thought that we will workout and he would be able to show me how can I workout being pregnant.

After I told him this, he got very upset. He told me that if I don't start with fitness now, that I will never start. He kept on telling me: "Are you sure you are going to be consistent with the gym? You have to be consistent and come". Well, I told him that when you're pregnant, you can't predict too much because one day you might be good, another day you might feel horrible. I felt pressured, humiliated, I felt like he was looking down on me.

He then he started to give me excuses "Are you sure you want to workout? I see you're that you're hesitating". I was not, he just didn't want to workout with me because he knew I won't sign up.

He finally had grace on me and decided to train me....15 minutes later he stopped the session after I told him I was light headed (even though I told him it was normal, that it's just that I'm tired all the time).

Fitness is my passion and before I got pregnant, I trained consistently for a year and a half. I just wanted some advice because having a baby in me, I don't know so much how to train anymore. The trainer was not competent, he didn't know what he was doing and saying, and didn't care about me or the baby. He was just obsessed with how much money he can get out of me.

Oh and cherry on the cake, at the end, he told me with an attitude: YOU SHOULDN'T TRAIN DURING THIS PERIOD.

Oh yeah??? So why even my doctor told me, it was excellent for me and my baby to train??

This club doesn't care about people. I don't like working out there. Nobody is friendly, or really care about you. You feel transparent sometimes. I will sign up to Crunch Fitness in a week or 2, I am waiting for them to open their new location in Parkland. I heard many good reviews about Crunch and about the way they treat their clients.

One of the worst gyms I've ever stepped into. All of the staff is very young and EXTREMELY RUDE!!! They have many policies that they do not tell you when you first sign up, and random charges come up on your credit card bill! Things that they have no explanation for. The manager is mean, awful, and uneducated. STAY AWAY!

Has much better equipment than the last gym, which I believe was Tropical Fitness, but am extremely disappointed in a couple people who work there. Other than Drew Goldsmith and a few others at the front desk, who are absolutely great, some of the crew is completely incompetent, mostly the manager. For example, I wanted to bring a friend of mine as a guest to check it out and even printed him out a 7 day "VIP" guest pass but was told that he couldn't come in unless he joined. Even after explaining to the manager, Joshua Labadie, that I wanted him to be my guest, I was told no, without the slightest consideration. I have also heard stories of Joshua Labadie refusing to talk to members who have had weight dropped on them by faulty machines. I would be surprised if Joshua Labadie was ever allowed a managerial position again after the stories of complete disrespect he has shown towards the gym's members. Also, one of the staff there, who looks like he has never lifted weights before and is about 19 years old, is constantly yelling at members for "dropping" their weight. I know what dropping a weight means and am against it fully, but when I placed my 100 pound dumbbell on the ground, I was immediately chastised for "dropping" the weight and was threatened to be kicked out. Many members have complained about this supposed "dropping of the weights". I am writing this not as a former disgruntled member either because I am still a member and am just hoping for change because I can see the potential.
