I visited your store on Mothers Day around 5"15pm and 5:30pm. I purchased a product that was on sale, when I mentioned to the cashier the item was on sell, she refused the check so another customer in line behind me said, hun go get the sign, the cashier still just stood there, clamping her nails on the counter, so I went, when I returned, the young man bagging the groceries said, Why is the customer getting the sign, she should not have had to get it, the cashier blurted out in an ugly tone, "I didn't tell her to get the sign, so I replied with-well you were making no effort to correct the price nor do a price check, when I told her who I worked for and that she needs customer service training, she said I don't care, I didn't tell you to get the sign. I feel that the female workers at the majority of these establisments should be over the age of 30, no fake hair and extra long nails, those are the ones that have no sense of courtesy for the consumers that are helping keep their jobs. I will not shop at Wayfield again, I am a mother and grandmother of 7 and have worked to hard for such treatment. I will be doing further research to see what can be done to improve the quality of service rendered by the employees placed in charge of serving the community, this is becoming too much with the economy in such a state I can’t believe any worker would be so cold and uncaring. I have tried to let this go, but I do believe this is the problem. If you ask your bagger, which was a young, very nice dark skin young man, the young lady had long nails and the tips or nail was dark blue. I was in the store with my daughter and other customers did witness this problem. I am a happy friendly woman, this type of behavior I hope will be addressed. I will contact the store manager -Willie Yellock to confirm that this matter will be delt with.
