Found Augustine thru VCDS locator, (aftermarket company that sells Vag Com for VW's) needed somebody to check codes and set timing after a belt change. luckily I had the timing dead on, so Joe charged me Zero$ to hook up. Dealership always charged me $100. Been back several times to talk about problems on Jetta TDI, always friendly & helpful with me. I always do all my own work on my vehicles, only go for help when I have to have access to special tools. Now retired but been mechanic all my life, can pretty much tell who's got their act together and who doesn't, if you've got a german vehicle in the Dayton area, the only place I would reccomend to take it to is Augustine

I asked this company if they would put a new engine in my car. They said yes, so i had my vehicle moved to their shop. over the next 8 months i called and called never ever recieving a call from them. i asked about prices i asked about timeline and they never got back to me. everytime i got them on the phone they were apologetic and willing to work with me but their actions never followed. i was dumb to play this game for so long. the only service i got was lipservice.
