I love the food and the drinks are the cheapest around. It's a great place to watch a game. The staff is great as well. The chicken alfredo is my favorite dish!

Overall

We have visited this establishment twice and both times came away feeling a bit disappointed. The first time we went, we sat at the bar and had a couple of drinks and an appetizer of the fried pork cracklings, which were basically pork rinds that were tossed in a fryer. They came out sizzling and crackling, which was kinda cool but not worth the 5.99 price tag when you can buy an entire bag for under two bucks and fry 'em up yourself.

Today was our second visit and this time we sat in the dining room, which was mostly empty. We both had sandwich wraps with fries. The fries on both of our plates tasted like they had sat in the kitchen for a while before being served up and were barely warm. And even worse, the tortillas used for the wraps were ice cold. However, the contents of the wraps were actually pretty tasty.

The service was friendly but absolutely awful. Our waitress seemed to have an attention issue and would take off before we could ask any questions. We also waited an eternity for a second round of beverages, one of which was sent to another table and still added to our bill (which we later had taken them take off.)

This place has a lot of potential but is sorely in need of better management. (We never saw any managers or anyone who looked remotely like a manager walking around on either of our visits.) We will most likely not be returning.

Went here last night for a friends birthday, and left very happy! We showed up originally only planning on five of us, but somehow our group turned into twelve? Anyway, instead of getting annoyed or rude, the wait staff was very friendly and accommodated our large group.

I started off with the french onion soup. Was very good.. My girl friend had the broccoli and cheddar soup, and she loved it! They also have a decent wine and cocktail selection.

The food was outstanding! I had the cajun chicken pasta and shared the artichoke dip this time.. She had the build your own burger and was very pleased!

Love the ale house. Manager Ray genuinely seemed happy that we were there and even bought my friend a birthday espresso Martini. We will definitely go back.

Went there today, and it was packed inside and on the patio. Huge tv screen on the patio was nice as I watched a basketball game out there. There drink prices were good as I paid $2.50 for a Shock Top draft. Bartender said the beer comes out at 29 degrees as it was cold and yummy. Had the korean chicken tacos and they were good. I had key lime pie and that was also pretty good. Service was great. I would come back again.

Overall

Awesome time, weather was cold outside so we ate inside. I had the chicken parmesan and it was really good. I also ate the buffalo bites for a appetizer and they were awesome as the sauce was on the inside of the chicken. Restaurant was extremely busy with lots of tvs. Dining area a bit small but overall a good experience.

BAD EVERYTHING

This "ale house" doesn't deserve the name. The waitress was subpar to say the least. Two from our party of four ordered soup/salad only, while the other two had meals. The soup/salads came out in a few minutes and the other two of us waited 30 minutes for our burgers. During that time the waitress asked us twice if we needed more silverware. "No, but we would like our food so we can all eat together." That didn't happen and when it finally did come, it was mediocre at best. For the price......we'll drive to a real "Ale House" next time. Don't settle for this fake ale house, it has no redeeming qualties!

Not The Real ALE HOUSE

These clowns are riding on the shirt coat of the True ALE HOUSES. To bad the true Ale House cannot go after these guys for name infringement. Hopefully Miller Ale House Lawyers are contemplating this. Anyone rating this place over 2 stars are either feeling sorry them, writing false review or haven't eaten at a restaurant that deserves a 4 or 5 star review. There are few places that truly earn 4 or 5 star's and most people haven't eaten at one.

The name draws people once, the quality of food and service will keep most away for a return visit. The only reason to return is for more disappointment. This place will survive for a little while, or until a few quality restaurants show up in the area. Hello Restaurant entrepreneurs this is a call to put a decent restaurant in this area, maybe a REAL MILLER'S ALE HOUSE to shut this fake down :-)

Ordered Grilled Chicken Sandwich w/ fries. Food was above expectations (due to other reviews & people). Fries taste great and the Grilled chicken sandwich was big and delicious. Service was great and fast, thanks to Armando. Price is moderate, came out to 10$ and change. Worth returning. I went around 8 p.m. on Monday. Atmosphere was good and people were happy by all sides of me.

from the moment we walked in the door we asked for a booth and the girl said 15 to 20 min and the place had 20 booths avl!!! no worrys then she said sorry no fish, no chiken tenders, no fried this and that it was like 6 items….. Ok no problem once we where seated and looked at the menu it had a burger and chiken sandwitch and a few other items.. so litterly half a page now??? no shrimp no kids menu nothing and after the six items on the list they ran out of not much left but burger and chicken sandwich so thats what we got and i ordered a ceaser salad and wow I had to spit it out in to my napken and asked the waiteres to pls take it back the letuce was slimie and old and it was a kid size porsion……. then the food came wow carborad frys and very cold and old, the griled chiken was burnt and hard… my wife the same we will never be back and have spead the word worst 35 dollars ever and once we asked for the mananger she said i cant find him and we where looking at him so she just did not want to get him we all so asked why no kids menu she rudely said we are in a bar wow what an answer …we just paid and left….. please avoid dont waist your money!!!! stay away they will be closed sooner then later!

1/8/2015 I called at 4:15pm told the receptionist, I have a party of 12 for 4:45pm. We arrived. The table was set up for us. We had a very nice server. The drinks were cold the food was good. The Manager, Amanda came and introduced herself. Ask if anyone needed anything. I asked her about the limited menu. She said they will be adding more items soon to make it a complete dining experience. I would rate my dining experience a 9 out of 10. I will be going back. Dave R.

Overall

My date and I went last night to check out the much anticipated " Alehouse" . The TV system was great! However, there is a reason that the franchises do so well! The server and chef training is intense and the food is very good whichever " Alehouse" chain you visit! This is not the case in this attempted copy! The server was very nice and the beer was cold! The chicken nachos order was sub par with dried- up chicken strips, store bought multicolor chips with some cheese product splattered on top! The salsa was tasteless and all I could think was give me " Chilis chips and salsa " where I should have gone! I ordered the hottest wings " boneless" and what came out was bone- in sweet wings! When I said something to my server, he brought me out the hot sauce in a cup and offered to take them back! Been there... Done that! My date ordered a mahi-sandwich and what he got was a " Gortons slab" on a bun with no tartar sauce ( that was listed on the menu) and a sliver of dried up onion and tomato. They need to increase the very sad menu and get better quality food! I'm guessing...... That corner space in Posner park is cursed! Reastraunt # 3 May be destined to fail! So sad!

Me and my wife live in Davenport and were excited to see a new restaurant in the area and had so much expectations here, but the restaurant turns out to be a dissapointment. Food is just ok, but limited menu and a bit expensive for what you get. The staff and our waiter were nice. Not as nice as the other Ale Houses, but they have some growing to do. They are new and just opened a week or so ago, so we will cut them a break and try again in a month or so. We didn't realize they had smoking there when we sat outside. We were half way through our meal and two tables next to us started smoking and ruined our meal. It's a shame because it was nice sitting outside.

Overall

One of the worst restaurants ever, this place does not have any thing to do with the chain of Ale houses. It is a private Bar. My wife had a terrible hamburger that you would not feed to your dog or cat. The service was terrible. It took us one hour to get our food. My fish and chips sucked......... We only live 5 minutes from this restaurant, will never come back again. The waiter asked me if I wanted the Manager to come over, I said yes please. He never even bothered to stop by. This place will not make it for the long run. Very disappointed ...................

Overall

we were there last night, we were a family of 4 with 2 kids, we asked the waitress do you have a kids menu? she answered with an upset tone, we are a bar. Service was bad, food was greasy and the manager apologized saying we don't have a kids menu YET! but the damage on the first impression was done.
