I had an AWFUL experience with United Service. I called them to see if they repaired ice cream batch freezers. They told me that this is something that they do. They also told me that they charge an hourly rate of $106 for the mechanic to look at the machine and DIAGNOSE IT.



They sent a repairman to look at the machine. He couldn't unscrew the screws to take the cover off of the machine. In fact, he scraped my machine in several places trying to do this. And then they charged me $106. I called to complain, and they told me that the $106 was a minimum that they required just to have the mechanic COME to me. I explained that not only did he NOT diagnose the problem, but he made it worse by scratching my machine. I also explained that I was told that this company/mechanic had worked with these type of machines before, which, according to the mechanic, WAS NOT THE CASE.



They would not issue me a refund and were so incredibly rude on the phone.
