Vspot Vegan Cafe

Seriously overpriced - this was the worst expensive meal I've ever had. We had the portabello fries, which were yummy... after the delicious fries and the green goddess type drink I was looking forward to a delicious meal. Unfortunately the rest fell flat. They were out of the fettucini arugula, so I tried the gnocci instead. My boyfriend had the raw coconut kale enchiladas. The sauce for the gnocci was decent, but the gnocci had absolutely no bite, they were like biting into a spoon of mashed potatoes. The enchiladas were pretty terrible - completely unfocused attempt - were they supposed to be mexican or asian? The lack of focus resulted in a clash of flavors, that became more annoyingly disharmonious after the second bite. Lastly, while our server did come back to refill our drinks, from her attitude and body language, it was apparent she didn't think we were cool enough to dine there. We left the place still hungry, our pockets 60 bucks lighter, and wishing we'd went to the Cosmic Cafe or Kallachandji's instead.

I had lunch here yesterday and happened to be their first customer (along with my two dining companions)! It was a wonderful experience and I'm looking forward to my next visit! Perhaps this weekend?



Food was excellent. It was prepared just right- everything was cooked to perfection. Neither my friends who were with me nor I are vegan and we did not feel like we missed out on the lack of meat! Plating was beautiful and every bite had layers of flavor.



Service was perfect- staff was all very knowlegable. We talked about where they sourced the ingredients and it's all very local and organic! We met the owner/chef who was such a delight! Obviously passionate about serving good quality food that people will love.



I've been WAITING for a juice bar to open in the neighborhood and they have one as well! Thanks V Spot!!!!

I went to the soft opening of VSpot last night for dinner and the food, atmosphere and staff made the experience excellent. I am a huge fan of Bliss, and VSpot delivers an even more elegant dining experience. The food is a work of art and the ambience is calming. The staff were all extremely courteous and the food itself was amazing. I even took three regular meat eaters with me and they loved the food and promised to go back again. The menu and staff cater to anyone with gluten allergies which was a plus. I cannot wait for them to officially open as the menu and juice bar provide an outstanding dining experience from everything to a quick stop for a snack to a relaxing meal. I highly recommend it!
