Overall

I got hit by a guy with United Auto Insurance. Getting paid has taken 2 months, and when they finally did pay, they paid approximately 40% of what the dealer estimated it would cost to fix. The dealer refused to work with United Auto, and every bodyshop I took the car to said working with United is the worst. Every phone call I made to United. specifically my adjustor named Anita Washington, would require 6+ voicemails and over a week to return. They claimed nonsense like "Betterment" due to scratches UNDER my bumper, in order to pay me even less. This company needs to be sued and put out of business. I feel bad for anyone that has to deal with United Auto.

FILE A COMPLAINT WITH YOUR STATES DEPARTMENT OF INSURANCE!!!!!!!



They are by far the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with! Your only chance of getting a call back or any kind of settlement offer is to document all calls and interactions with them and the outcome of every conversation and then file a complaint with any and all possible agencies. The best is the Department of insurance.



After dealing with them for the last 4 months I will be starting a petition to have their authority to conduct business in the state of Arizona revoked.



FILE A COMPLAINT WITH YOUR STATES DEPARTMENT OF INSURANCE!!!!!!! Only way to get a returned call.

I was struck by a UAIC driver.. Have spent 3 months trying to get my car fixed. Ended up writing a check to get my car home from the dealership. After writing this check, I just learned they denied 8 days of rental car coverage. Horrible company to deal with...

I agree this is the company from HELL-- their client hit me and they told me they had 60 days to research. They told me he had insurance but the car that he was driving was NOT listed on the policy --I called every day to check on the status and was told they were probably going to deny it. Today they denied it because they said their client had nonowners insurance and he was driving a car he owned -- I am paying the price for this but I am contacting a lawyer and the BBB and filing complaints everywhere. There is better insurance than this and this is how they also treat their OWN CLIENTS.

This business is the WORST EVER !!!!!! It's like dealing with a company from HELL. If you get hit by one of their insured, just hire an attorney, use your own insurance or decide to live without a car for years. They wan 30-60 days to verify they are liable then it may take that long to process the claim and then you still have to get your car fixed and then it take 30-60 days for them to pay the repair company. If you have insurance with this company, go somewhere else. This company specializes in high risk insurance meant for those who cannot get insurance else where, but trust me, there are other companies out there that can insure you with minimal hassle.
