The sushi restaurants at that time in Dallas were what you would consider to be your typical Japanese restaurants - small, minimal d cor, with traditional Japanese background music. To this date, most other Japanese restaurants in the Dallas Metroplex remain this way, The Blue Fish brought something dramatically different. The Blue Fish is an intimate, stylish sushi and sake bar that merges modern sushi and fabulous drinks into a contemporary environment where dining and socializing all converge under one roof. With the success of its first restaurant on lower Greenville Avenue in Dallas, a second, third and fourth The Blue Fish opened in 2000, 2003 and 2009, respectively in Dallas metroplex area. It has succeeded in its effort to not be your typical Japanese restaurant. The company also expanded into southeast Florida market in 2007. It opened its first out of Texas restaurant in Delray Beach, Florida.The Blue Fish is like no other restaurant and bar.
