Founders Square Apartments

Absolutely horrible place to live. Cockroaches EVERYWHERE!!!!!! The Air conditioning and heating are all full of mold as well. Can't use it unless you want you bedding and clothes to smell that like mold. The management is also horrible. They will not help unless they can be held liable and definitely wont help with maintenance issues unless you threaten to sue. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!

I just came across these reviews and am really shocked. I've lived here for 7 months and couldn't be happier. The area is awesome, super close to downtown and right next to a beautiful park where I walk my dog twice a day. Founders is completely gated, but I've always felt safe. My apartment had just been refinished when I moved in so it has new appliances and a whole new bathroom and flooring. When I had an issue with my bedroom door lock last month, maintenance came the next day to fix it. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Founders Square.

I agree with the previous reviews. Management and maintenance care in the beginning 2 to 3 months and after that it's a done deal. Roaches coming out of nowhere. It gets embarrassing when you have guests over. Ceiling leaking red liquid in bathroom with mold and all maintenance did was put plaster over it. Mold behind sink in bathroom. Closet rods aren't bolted to the wall so it falls every time I hang more clothes on it. No light in the living room (Apt. 104). These apartments are pigs with lipstick. Looks great on the outside until you actually start living in it. Rent at your own risk. You have been warned. Lease is up in March. Thank God!!!

We've lived here six months. Issues constantly. We cannot wait for our lease to be up. Roaches crawl in from the neighbors apartment... Management refuses to deal effectively with it. "Management" is rarely in the office and doesn't answe the phone. We complained for 2 months before having the refrigerator fixed and have had a leak under the sink for months in the bathroom...still leaking and smelling moldy. Don't be fooled by all the renovations and upgrades...this is a poorly managed pest infested mess!!!!

1.Pest EVERYWHERE

2.RUDE maintenance an office personnel

3.Although it's Winter its been warm out, yet the air doesn't come on only heat. The out dated thermostats are manually changed by an outside company twice a year.

4.The work you see is cosmetic, the area is beyond sketchy, and don't walk to the right of the apartments after dark.

Finally if you get #221 take a look at the vent in the bedroom over the bathroom door ITS BEEN DRILLED UP THERE , AFTER FALLING OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT,no you can not get the air filter changed when u cant breath. 12/12/2014
