Faith Presbyterian Hospice

Too many Hospice choices available to settle for mediocre care. While there are some fabulous caregivers, there is a lack of communication and misrepresent their intentions when it comes to those making final decisions. Things are told to the family and then undone by someone else. In one situation we waited over 4 hours for a response that ended up in the emergency room and a broken arm, and this occurred during normal business hours. Let's be honest, most emergencies do not happen during normal business hours. Communication for treatment plans during non-business hours and weekends to on-call employees is unacceptable. This is a time when families have enough stress to handle, they need to be able trust and count on the care they choose for their loved ones.... not scrambling to find someone (or another agency) who will actually HELP families during these life ending trials we all must face.
