Eye Doctor's Office and Eye Gallery

I have not had good luck with eye doctors. I thought Dr. Consor would be different. But if being able to see is your goal, keep looking. Dr. Consor has a great staff and applies over-the-top marketing principles - be ready to pay dearly with no guarantees. I have contacts that give me "functional vision" and glasses I literally can't see out of and no benefits for a year and $600 of my money down the tubes. The thing is, when you can't see out of your glasses - you become the problem, and finally they give up but don't give your money back. Shame on me for not verifying this Before I let them order new lenses. I should have kept the old lenses - at least I could see out of them.

Both my husband and I have been going to Dr. Consor for close to 30 years and would not ever consider going any where else. The staff is extremely helpful and Dr. Consor is very, very competent. My husband is diabetic and Dr. Consor watches his eyes for any sign of diabetic complication(s). He does not hesitate to recommend specialists when the situation warrents it. We certainly recommend him to anyone who is looking for an eye doctor they can trust.

I went into the office for a contact and eyeglass exam. It was the best experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My appointment was at 9am and I was in his office as soon as I filled out my paperwork, so there was no wait. He was very professional and made sure I understood everything. The office was very comfortable and clean. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a eye doctor. Not only was he pleasant but the nurse as well as the rest of the staff was friendly. Not to mention they have a great selection of eye frames for very reasonable prices. Thanks Dr. Consur for everything!

Dr. Consor has overseen my optical care for years. About ten years ago, I relocated to Southern California and tried out five optometrists, two of them got my prescription wrong and I had to be re-examined (something that never happened at Dr. Consor's office). I was in Dallas on business and made an appointment with Dr. Consor for my annual eye examination and will continue to return annually from now on.
