Apple Tree Christian Academy

I am very pleased with this daycare. My son and two nieces attend and I've seen the change (positive) in all three. They are learning at a great speed, homework is given moderately. Homework allows us to see our son develop new skills, learning patters. The price is reasonable and well worth it! We love Mrs. Garza, Sofia and Ms. King. Without a doubt, they look out for the best interest of our kids. Education is pricey, if you are whining over a few dollars to improve your child's education at this school, you'll be crying once you move them to another "higher skilled educational school" and have to pay tuition, books, fees. Our part as parents is to also teach, educate our kids at home. Do not leave this job just to the teachers and at school, kids never stop learning!

This school is good only as a day care . The school is no real educational facility .The school has no organization . They make you pay for lots of add ons and that's all they seem to care about money.Not teaching are kids I pulled my kid out .

The school is basically a mess. The school is very unorganized . The school charges money for everything as an extra and still the school is in bad shape and filthy . I would not recommend any of there schools .

The school is dirty. You can see dirty stains on the carpet. They give a lot of hard homework for little kids. They are not really organized.

Do not take your child here. My 5 year old brother came home one night and told us that he was getting hit by one of the teachers there.

Positive: Staff is polite, older students seem happy to be there, enough staff employed to meet teacher to student ratio. Concerns: Some of the staff members assigned to classrooms are used to run front counter at busy times of day or leave to drive afterschool van. Too many kids in one room. Homework for a 2 yr old? Really? Teacher concerned about my 2 year old not sitting and coloring? That shouldn't be normal for a 2 yr old. At times was not cleaned properly, nose always runny, and extremely thirsty/hungry at pick up time. (was only there 2 wks) Overall, I felt the center did not provide an environment that allows a 2yr old to develop by interacting with the world around him/her through consistent play, exploration, and kinesthetic activities. Its been almost a yr since this experience,but I felt I had to share.
