Worst Moving Experience -zero stars

This was the worst moving experience I have ever encountered. My items were picked up from San Antonio on May 19th. I did not receive my items until June 15th. This is highly unusual as I have other co workers who have moved and received an exact date as to when their furniture would arrive. This company is a complete joke. They asked to move my pick up day early then they tried to move the pick up time. When I explained that the time offered wouldn't work for me "jazmin douglas" became rude and made it seem as if this was an inconvenience for them instead of the customer. As soon as the movers arrived they wanted payment in advance- fine not a huge deal. Well to my surprise in order to use a cc you were charged an 8% fee. The movers then went back to the truck fiddled around returned to my apt and explained I order to wrap all of my items with tape & blankets it would be an additional $646 dollars. Guess what! Had to put that on the credit card and get charged another 8%. So my quote of $1173 to move turned into a total of $2749.68!!! How is it that when I asked several times if blankets are provided at no cost and now all of a sudden I'm being charged for $600 worth of used, torn, & ripped blankets. So needless to say after all the time spent after the so called inventory that is supposed to be done when loading the truck, I now have a table top missing and a box missing with shoes, accessories,& undergarments. Who takes undergarments?? Furthermore how or why is it protocol to file a claim for missing items? Shouldn't this company be able to go back to the storage and simply see if items were left behind? Do they not have access to the trucks to see who may have addtl items? Shouldn't we have a process before we start a claim that is going to lead to a result that I'm sure I will not be satisfied with? Well this company does not care and has no regard for anything that belongs to you. Save your time & money. Hire a Uahul-that's what I will be doing next time.

This was my first significant move as I have always lived in the town where I was born. Moves were made with the assistance of friends. I received a job offer requiring a move from TX to TN. Daniel at the office gave me one of the best quotes and took the time to explain everything to me. Alex showed up with his crew as schedule to pick up our belongings. They were so conscientious and thorough they put me at ease. They delivered everything intact and on time! Thank you, I will definitely recommend your company to all!

We were really impressed with Across USA. The crews led by Luis were friendly, efficient and very swift. Luis and they handled it with confidence. All of our boxes were moved where we wanted them, and were handled with care. They also moved some very bulky furniture up some stairs with no issues. All of our furniture was carefully wrapped and everyone was really nice and accommodating. I would heartily recommend these guys to anyone looking to substantially reduce their moving hassle.

Across USA was hands down the best moving/delivery service I've ever used. The movers were extremely professional and were so easy to work with. They were very fast at getting back to me, arrived for pick up early, and even gave me a ride back to the drop off location. It makes a huge difference compared to most movers I've worked with who are unresponsive, rude and often overcharge. I would highly recommend them.

I came to know about Across USA from a friend of mine. So, I hired them for a small move and they really impressed me. These guys were extremely professionals. When I consulted my move with Sylvia their sales person, she knew exactly what i was looking for and could provide me with very accurate quote within my budget. The way their movers packed, moved and stored my things was a complete display of class. Most importantly there were no any extra or hidden fees and my belongings arrived to my new place in perfect condition. So, my money would be always on the Across USA.

My friend gave me their number when I asked him if he knows and good moving company. I called Across USA and talked with their sales rep. He was attentive and responsive to all my questions. He was smartly taking notes of my requirements and offered me an attractive deal. I took the offer immediately and assigned them for my move. But I was little worried about the move because the movers had to deal with some very old, vulnerable and sensitive stuffs. When they began, I realized that they would be able to move all my stuffs perfectly and they did not let me down. Movers were simply brilliant and they managed to execute the move without a single mistake and within the allotted time. That is why I am impressed like anything.

Wow... Unbelievably bad experience. They were 22 hours late (from the latest time they gave me in the window) after promising me hour after hour they were gonna be in an hour or two. Stayed up till midnight waiting eventually finding out they would be there "first thing in the morning". Which turned out to be 7pm. Missed my flight the next day waiting for them. Was promised a call from a supervisor to make things right. That didn't happen. I called and spoke with someone and told them I was tired of dealing with their process and was just going to leave my reviews online. He said "I don't want this to sound like a threat, but if the company sees you slandering them online we can just leave your stuff wherever it is in the country and tell you to pick it up." I told him that definitely sounded like a threat and that I had no intention of slandering them. Only posting 100% accurate reviews.

Do not trust other reviewers. This company pays its employees to write reviews around the web. They constantly change the schedule of your pickup and delivery inflate the price at every turn. Shady Shady Shady. Find another company and be stress free.

Many huge thanks! I am writing this review today to tell everyone that Across USA team did a great job on our move. We were not disappointed in anyway with the service we received. We found the movers to be very professional and reliable. Alex and his crew showed up on time, they worked very efficiently, and their charges were exactly as per their quote - with no unpleasant surprises whatsoever. After using Across USA for my move I definitely will recommend them to all. These movers are awesome. They are nothing less than magicians. I was very worried about the glass shelves and the very vulnerable show piece, but they were equally good to the task. They managed to move everything without a scratch and without any damage. The move was a very smooth and timely one. I hope that they would be able to continue their excellence in the coming years.

I was searching for a good moving company for my last move. Then I saw some wonderful reviews about Across USA. So, I called them and discussed my move. The sales person was very keen to figure out my requirements and offer me a good deal. As a process he actually offered me a very good deal, which was within my budget and time. Finally their mover executed the move and everything was perfectly done. I am so happy with them that I want to recommend Across USA to anyone who is looking for movers.

To start I will say, this is not my first time using a moving company. I have used movers both local and long distance 3 times in my life. I will go out on a limb and say Across USA has been the best company I used. What I found the most helpful about this company was the structure of the estimate. Everything was clear from the get go. The actual execution of the move was above average as well. I was very comfortable with working with Across USA team. I feel they are a good choice and I am satisfied with my outcome.

Can't begin to express how happy my family and I are in regards to Across USA services. We choose the platinum package because the amount of items we own I felt would take a lifetime to pack. Not only were they thorough but they packed so well they actually saved me money on the account by packing less boxes than I thought we had. My delivery was less time than expected. We've moved before as my company relocates us every three years and every time my price would double, items were missing or broken. So I did all the necessary research and made a smart decision when I decided to go with Across USA.

I used many movers over the last 15 years. I have to relocate quite often because of the nature of my job. As a result I have used many moving companies. But after using Across USA, I must say that they were the first company to deliver everything that I was looking for. To be honest, I never anticipated such accuracy, professionalism and fast service, which I experienced yesterday. I am definitely going to use them for my next move. This company is cheap, easy to hire and most importantly able to handle the pressure of tight deadline and critical maneuvers.

Don't use Across USA Moving fo...

Don't use Across USA Moving for Interstate Moves, they broker out your move. Across USA Moving & Storage recently did a move for us from Cedar Park, TX to Pembroke Pines, FL. We went with them as they are a Texas based HHG Mover, and OZZ our move consultant said they were not a HHG Broker. They Brokered our HHG move to a South Florida Carrier that was just horrible. Nothing got done like agreed, they even were throwing our boxes in front of my wife.
