I started training at the 10th street gym as a beginner 2 years ago and have come a very long way since.

It is a very friendly and positive environment. I highly recommend it to anyone from male, female, kids, adults, pro, amatuer, recreational. Just bring the attitude and Jay will take care of the rest.

I’m a 31 year-old attorney who was looking to learn a little more about boxing. I’ve been working with Jay since early summer of 2011. It’s been an amazing experience. Jay is an excellent trainer, easy to work with and extremely knowledgeable. He has a lifetime of experience. After just one training session, I knew I had come to the right place. I took some informal boxing lessons a few years ago, but it wasn’t a very good experience. A good trainer (next to your own motivation) is the most important factor when you start and can make the experience worthwhile or a waste of time. You can’t go wrong with Jay. The other fighters in the gym are all great to work with and happy to help you learn while you are sparring with them. Anyone hoping to learn about boxing in the Dallas area should check out the Tenth Street gym.

Invaluable experience is earned a places like the Tenth Street Gym, where experienced boxers and trainers alike put forth a lot of effort in improving on a day in and day out basis.

Jay Sanchez is a remarkable trainer and mentor. He is skilled in communicating the science of boxing with his pupils, and is invested in their progression through his training sessions.

I really enjoy the gym. It's very comfortable setting. The trainer is very knowledgeable in what he's doing. I recomend this gym to beginners and more experienced boxers. He has a great training style for all types of boxers. The other members also help with training.

Great place to come and train. Jay Sanchez is definately the "Mickey Goldmill" of boxing. Leave the B.S. at the door and prepare to get down to business.

Excelent place for beginners to start out. PLENTY of sparring for the development of offense and defense. He trains people just want to get in shape also. But nothing comes easy. Jay Sanchez is filled with plenty of boxing knowledge, he's eager to teach to all that seeks. If a fancy gym is what you're looking for than search elsewhere. Fighters are training on the daily so NO B.S Tenth Street gym is where champions train, no pain no gain.
