I went in to get permanent make-up. There was an advertised "special" for the service, BUT I was charged $100 more. I was told by the person who did my brows, Reda, that she used a "special brush stroke technique that costs more". (Strike 1). Another one of the problems that I had was, there are no posted prices for the permanent make-up. Depending on when you go and who you are, the prices are subject to be different. (Strike 2) Also, the pictures that are posted online are people who were NOT done by Reda. She has a few pictures of some of her work on her telephone, but nothing like you see posted on the website. (Strike 3)
Reda is not the friendliest person. She seemed a bit detached. I was told that there would be an anesthetic used so that my brows would be numb during the procedure. Either it was ineffective or it was not used. The whole process was extremely painful. Couple that with not getting the advertised discount, and I would give the experience a C-. The work that she did was okay.
I did not use the other services so I will not comment on them, but I would NOT recommend Reda to anyone.

My experience was not so good:-( I actually went to ZenaDay on my BDAY! and i was not greeted properly by the meanest receptionist on the PLANET! The best thing about going here was my massage by CHELSEY! OMG if you are going for a massage please go to her ONLY. I think they treat you differently with a groupon, bloomspot or living social deal. Think twice before getting those deals. The staff are NOT friendly!!!

I cannot help but to wonder if the positive reviews regarding Zena day spa were mostly posted by friends and employees. Either that, or many people have lower expectations regarding their beauty rituals. My experience was not a positive one.
First of all the salon is decorated in gold gilded king tut tacky decor. The salon is owned by an middle eastern Arab woman, I suppose that would explain the decor. The womans name is Lorraine and she is a hands on owner. Lorraine is somewhat charming in that insincere car salesman sort of way, yet something about her suggested she was suspiciously insincere, much like a friendly used car salesman.
My lriend bought me this gift when Lorraine tattooed my friends eyebrows and lips. My friend was happy to have eyebrows, however her friends and family members felt her eyebrows and lips looked too dark and unnatural. My friends husband has since convinced my friend to have the tattoo eyebrows removed by laser-though the lips are not as bad. After meeting this woman, no doubt my friend was sold this gift package because of Lorraine's effective but pushy car sales tactics. I accepted the package as my birthday gift assuming not much could go wrong.
Though nothing serious occurred, It was not a first class experience. Almost every service was provided by a non English speaking employee--even the manicure pedicure was the worst I've ever experienced.: It was apparent that they didn't sanitize their tools. My blonde hair color was turned yellow with white and orange stripes. The massage was weak and the woman was not interested in what she was doing. The laser hair machine Lorraine used hurt more than normal, maybe due to the fact that she doesnt offer numbing creme first, and grew back faster than any other time ive had this procedure done to my bikini line. Eyebrow shaping using thread? Almost took off my entire brow off and still have not grown back in.
If you wish for a sophisticated environment..this is not it. If you wish for a sanitary environment..this is not it. If you wish for artistic, competent stylist, colorist, manicurist, massage therapist, this is not it.
.
and they're expensive and overpriced!!!
