I found awesome hairstylist, Sissy Barlow in Warrenton, VA in the summer of 2011. She moved to Illusions By Teresa a few short months later and I followed her there. Sissy has done a magnificent job on my hair. I have received both highlights and cuts from her that have been the best job on my hair in 20 years...no lie. I recommend Sissy if you are looking for someone who is an expert in color/highlights as well as a really great cut.



As far as the salon...I love the environment. It is quiet and relaxing when I go. It is chic in it's decor. Prices are very competitive and frankly, I am willing to pay the little bit more simply for the enjoyment of the atmosphere. The owner, Teresa, and all the other gals are exceptionally friendly and you can tell they really enjoy seeing you at each return visit. The owners two maltese dogs are often there and provide amusing entertainment. :) I take my 11 year old daughter with me to have her hair cut by Sissy too. This salon is not just for women...I see gentleman there often as well.



I highly recommend this salon and can personally recommend Sissy Barlow as a great stylist.

I went to Illusions for the second time yesterday, and I'm VERY happy with my hair!

I have tough hair because it's very long and thick. Plus it's blonde and shows every cut. I get highlights and lowlights and I've had good color jobs and desasterous color. I'm picky and will not got to the same stylist twice if I am not completely happy with the results.

All that to say that I am impressed at the skill level of The stylists at Illusions.

My hair looks fantastic! My layers are beautiful and my highlights and lowlights are Exactly the right color combo and the application is exact, all the way to the root with no bleeding!

While my hair was processing I saw other stylists doing great work on their clients, so I think it's a great place all around.

I'm so happy that I don't have to leave town to have great hair!
