Fairfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

Having experience with six other nursing homes, this is absolutely the best. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. Its very clean and no institutional smell. The therapists are absolutely top notch and work with the patients one on one.Can't say enough good for Fairfield.

I have stayed in the factility twice within 8 months for REHAB after surgeries. I requested it the second time. It is well run well, staffed with staff that addresses you by name in the halls and in rehab.One of the reasons I like the staff is that they usually smile, and greet you in and out of your room; they are caring helpful and friendly.They are polite and competent. The food is "OK". You can choose from 2 options on daily menus.The PT and OC therapies are excellent.

The therapy room is very large,naturally well lit supplemented with overhead lighting. There are many occupational and physical thearpists and patients, yet the room never appears crowded. Plenty of equipment. The single and double rooms with bath are well appointed, quiet, with plenty of room and seating for visitors in addition to several well furnishedopen rooms where one can meet with family and friends..At least 4 or more doctors are in several times a week, and staf has no problem calling one if a patient has a problem with meds or other important concerns that can't wait.

I have had relatives or friends in several other REHAB facilities in this area, and not one would earn 4 stars from me.
