        I went to the new place, EL Presidente, a block from the original La Huazteca to eat last night. The food is ok but the service was really awful, especially toward African Americans. African Americans are treated like second rate citizens. Preferential treatment to Caucasions over African Americans when being seated. It was so obvious, a Caucasion lady called the manager out for seating a Caucasion couple before the African American couple who arrived several minutes earlier.

        We all found this restaurant over the past weekend, 11-14 & 11-15, and all we can say is WOW!!! Bring one to Selmer, TN... The staff was awesome, decor great and food was superb!!! Next time we head to Hidden Valley MX we will definitely be eating there again.

        Great atmosphere, great people! Their steak fajita stuffed baked potato is to DIE for! My grandson's favorite restaurant, so we go at least once a week.

        I absolutely love this restaurant! The food was amazing as well as the service. My boyfriend and I are heading towards Covington tomorrow to enjoy La Huazteca's lunch menu. I am not a big Mexican food lover, but I had to make an exception for this food. It was really good and wasn't expensive at all. In fact I ordered an enchilada, taco, rice and beans, and burrito for $4.99. You can't beat that!

        Best of food & the Mexican theme and decor is beautiful. The BEST in the South,bar none!!!!!

        I can always count on the staff and owners to be exceptionally nice. Their quality of food is great for the price. Covington, Tn. is fortunate to have such an ethnic restaurant such as this....This is a local favorite of mine and my family . Thank you for your hospitality and respect!!
