Dr. Alyson P. Thal, MD

You'll not find a better doctor in New Mexico. She is a fantastic diagnostician and spends as much time as needed with each patient to ensure that she understands the condition and treats it properly. Wow! I've gone to her for over 10 years and she absolutely blows away any other doctor I've ever seen. Highly recommended.

Dr. Thal is an old-fashioned physician in that she takes time to listen to her patients and tries to develop long term relationships with them. This allows her to better understand when there is a problem, where other doctors might miss one. She is a highly effective diagnostician, and when the problem lies outside her specialty refers you quickly to another. Her references have always been to extremely good doctors. I recommend her to all of my friends. The one down side to her practice is the long waits. These occur because she DOES take time with each patient, and also tries to work in emergent patients as needed. Please be patient and bring a book. The quality of care is worth it.
