All agreements are open ended. This means you can cancel at any time. All "fine print" is highlighted, underlined and explained in detail before any member signs. All gyms charge you whether or not the memberships are in use. It is not a gyms responsibilty to cancel your membership for you. All members are required to give a 15 day notice in writing at the gym or through certified mail. This is at the request of the secured financial institute that handles billing for all members. You will be charged If you do not meet the 15 day notice. This was also highlighted, underlined and explained. In order to manage all clients efficiently, It is gym policy to stick to the ethics above no matter what the circumstance.
