Catfish Charlie's

Love the atmosphere. The waitresses are awesome. The food was great. The only thing wrong with the frog legs is needing more flavor. They were blend. Other than that the catfish, oysters, gumbo and Coleslaw was great. It's worth going.

Read about the place in The Visitor. Went there after seeing a movie with the family. The service was lousy. The hush puppies we old, cold and hard and should have been tossed out. The catfish was not cooked well enough and should have been crisper.
I do not recommend this establishment. Save your money and go somewhere else.

casual atmosphere, cold beer, good food, reasonable prices. The SOB's were great! and their gumbo fantastic! All the flavors stood out, nothing got lost or muddled. Fried items were in a light batter and only the flavor of the oyster or shrimp came through. We'll be back!

Super hushpuppy's ,nothing is Frozen ,great attentive service .When relatives visit from San Antonio its always their #1 destination.
