I've been seeing Dr Ashley for about 3 years now.
I didn't have the money or insurance to see a dentist while in college, so unfortunately my teeth needed a lot of work. When I finally got a job with good health benefits, I was SUPER nervous about going to the dentist. I was really embarrassed about the condition of my teeth.
So, I started asking my friends if they had a dentist they liked. One friend recommend Dr. Ashley. My friend explained how she had been in the same situation as me. Hadn't seen a dentist in years, felt embarrassed, etc.
"Alicia, you should try seeing Dr Ashley. She and everyone in her office is so nice. They really do all they can to make you feel comfortable."
I am SO happy that I listened to my friend. I love talking to Dr Ashely and everyone that works there. They are all so kind and Dr Ashley has a great sense of humor.
There I am in the dentist chair right in the middle of a root canal....and the only thing I'm concerned with is trying to hold in my laughter at a funny story that Dr Ashley and Liza are telling me while they work. When my root canal was done, i was in disbelief. That's it? That wasn't that bad! Why did I wait so long!
I'm actually a little sad that they fixed my teeth so well that I don't have to see them as often! haha! I look forward to my dentist appointments rather than dreading them. I love that the office calls to remind me of upcoming appointments. Sometimes when someone cancels their appointment, they call and ask if i want to come in earlier than planned. That system has worked really well for me.
Another plus is that I found out that Dr Ashley and I are both passionate about volunteering and helping the homeless cat and dogs in Corpus Christi. She even donated some things to the shelter I volunteer at. Her dedication to the animals is just another example of the kind and compassionate person she is.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ashley's for more than ten years and had extensive work done on my teeth. The staff is very professional and I was on time for my appointment after being called within the week to remind me. Dr. Ashley gave me her complete attention and finished my procedures quickly. The dental assistant took my blood pressure and I was given repeated instructions and a dental bag with several useful items. I have never experienced a former dentist providing such care and concern for me as a patient.

Not the dentist for busy schedules- They are supposed to call two days before to confirm your appointment. I did not receive this call, though the employee says she called and left a message that miraculously did not show up in my voice mail. The next day they called while I was in class- left a message to call by noon- which I did not get until 3:45. I called them back and they had already canceled my appointment and given it to someone else. I find it unprofessional to expect a call back within several hours in the middle of a workday, especially after they had cancelled my first appointment and rescheduled me once already. The only consolation they could offer was to reschedule me for 20 days later. They gave my appointment to a person on a waiting list to be fit in if possible...why couldn't they call this person and tell them they made a mistake? I asked the office manager and was told that they couldn't do that because the other person had already accepted my time slot...I reminded her that they had quite unceremoniously cancelled my appointment with 4 hours notice...why not just tell the person who didn't make an appointment in advance that there was a mistake? It seems as though there is an ultra-rigid adherence to this policy in the office. The office manager kept telling me that her hands were tied...but by whom? Isn't she the office manager? If I agreed to this my appointment would have been delayed almost 2 months from when I originally tried to schedule it. This was supposed to be my second visit and it left me as a customer feeling as though they could care less if they get my business. This is disturbing on several levels. Do I really want to go to a dentist or doctor who doesn't care if they lose patients? Do I really want to go to a dentist that has so many patients that we become expendable? That's like shopping at a store where none of the employees will help you- it's just poor customer service and the last time I checked most of us leave large sums of our hard earned cash at the dentists office-insurance or not. The policy is an efficient idea taken to a totalitarian extreme. It seems that when a medical office strives for 100% efficient time use the compassion and flexibility goes out the window. I'm sure that this policy is great for the profit of the business but has been a big disappointment for this former customer who thought I had found my dentist for life. Good dentist if you have a totally open schedule. Its an uncompromising unforgiving policy-also note that if you do not show up for your appointment you will be charged a fee and after my conversations with the office manager I don't think they care what the reason is -beware and remember that health and dental care is a service industry that you as a patient pay dearly for- put your money in the pockets of professionals who really WANT your business AND are good at what they do. You're paying- you should get both

I found the staff to be very friendly. Dr. Ashley is so nice; she'll put you at ease right away! I really enjoyed going there and hated to part with such a great dentist when we moved!
