Dirty Work Cleaning

When I needed to hire a cleaning service to handle some jobs when my parents were ill and then passed away, I got multiple referrals to Dirty Work cleaning. I had experiences with other companies rushing through my own house so fast that nothing got cleaned, and was very happy that Lorraine assured me that it would not happen. She was professional, prompt in responding and did a thorough walk through to assess what was needed and gave me a very thorough estimate. She and her crew were on time, worked hard and thoroughly, were polite and professional. My parents house was back in shape in no time. I have used Dirty Work several times now and would recommend them to anyone. They have a great reputation and now I know why! On the one occasion that I found something missed (and I had not actually asked for it, so my fault) Lorraine herself came right out and got it done. Its refreshing to find someone who wants to do it RIGHT.

Anyone who knows me knows I don't mind paying for quality service. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! When my original cleaning service had to cancel due to a family issue and I was on vacation, i called here. She did a walk thru of my home the day prior to cleaning and messaged me saying it's spotless but she'll dust, tidy up bathrooms, wash up kitchen etc. I mentioned to not do bedrooms because i had done them before i left for my trip. It was a holiday and we were getting company in from out of town. My daughter's were home the morning she "cleaned". Her and her crew were there a little over an hour. My downstairs bathroom was never cleaned, my kitchen floor, countertops, appliances and hardwoods were never touched and my carpeted floors were never vacuumed. Imagine my surprise when the bill arrived with a note attached stating the charges due are because we had to "deep clean" your home. $224 was the amount owed. My regular service charges me $65 and does an amazing job! I messaged her saying this isn't what we negotiated and she took off $32 for 1 man hour which shows me she had purposely overcharged me for services we had not agreed on. Please be careful if you deal with this company. I am still fighting this bill due to the principle of the matter and my attorneys and I will decide on a fair amount to pay a business that believes it's ok to deceive their clients...

Lorraine has rescheduled twice. The first time was New Years Eve. That one was no problem. She said anytime next week, so on December 31st I asked for Monday at 5:30PM. On that Monday at 3:30 PM, I get an email saying she can't make it. 2 hours before the appointment. I then rescheduled for Thursday at 5:30 PM which she agreed. It is now 6:15 PM on Thursday and no show, no email or phone call. I called her business phone and it told me the voice mail was full and could not accept any more messages. This level of service/commitment I don't need. I wish her the best of luck and good fortune.
