What a surprise. Finally, a restaurant that serves great food. There has been many failures in this particular spot due to bad food, location, and general customer neglect. My friends and I tried practically all dishes offered and were extremely pleased. I had mussels that were plentiful with a great sauce which I was initially a skeptic. My wife had shrimp grits that were equal to the best in Charleston, and my friends had N.C.trout, meatloaf and almondchicken for which they all raved.



The disadvantage is that most people assume that just another failure has taken over the location. This is obviously not true. The food is top notch, the service is friendly, and the drinks are not skimpy or expensive.



I do hope that the owner will personalize the place more with table cloths, and/or decorations. It looks way too much like the previous two ventures there that were failures. This place will make it if people get in and try the food.
