It makes teeth resistant to acid attack caused by plaque bacteria and sugar in mouth. Fluoride treatment significantly reduces the risk or cavities and caries in kids’ teeth.
Dental Sealants
We use dental sealants to fill these pits and fissures and create a physical barrier between the tooth and plaque/bacteria – thereby strengthening teeth and preventing cavities. This is a non-invasive process.

If your child’s tooth is broken, hold the tooth in place. You should not hold the tooth by the end (the root), but rather by the top (the crown).While it is okay to rinse the tooth with water, you should not clean or move it more than needed. General Dentistry
Dr. Agudelo is a dedicated and passionate dentist who loves interacting and helping people. She is committed to providing the best comprehensive and personalized dental treatment, putting patient care as her number one priority. Originally from Colombia, Dr. Agudelo received her D.D.S degree from CES University in Medellin- Colombia, in 2000. It has always been clear to her that she wanted to spend her life working with and helping patients. During her final year of training, she did an academic rotation at the University of Chile and the University of Concepcion in Chile During her rotation; she attended all available academic conferences and worked closely with the pediatric and orthodontic dentistry students with whom she had the opportunity to improve her knowledge and experience in the dental field. Therefore, after finishing an intense social service as a general dentist in a Community Hospital, she moved to the United States. Dr. Agudelo completed two years of postgraduate education and received a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Lutheran Medical Center in Arizona ( an NYU program) in 2014. Dr. Agudelo is trained in Adult, Child, and Infant Life Support (BLS) and is a member of the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association. Dr. Agudelo currently practices out of our Pembroke Pines, Fl location. She loves to spend time with her family and friends.
