iPlanet Academy Preschool believes that children are growing physically, socially, emotionally, cognitively and spiritually. We believe in an individualized and well balanced program that builds on each individual child’s self-esteem and self-confidence in a safe, healthy quality learning environment. As a new program in the community of Coral Springs, iPlanet Academy offers young children the opportunity to learn and develop in a happy, secure, creative and stimulating environment. We are happy to introduce an exciting kind of creative theme-based curriculum approach to the Florida Center for Reading Research in collaboration with Just Read, Florida! Our methods foster the optimum development environment for the different learning needs of every child. We invite you to come and visit our preschool and see the difference your child can make in education. Our curriculum is designed to meet the social, physical, emotional, and intellectual needs of the children, with emphasis placed on daily interaction with each child by their teacher. We guide and help children achieve positive self-esteem about themselves and their ability to learn. TODDLERS AND TWO´S Teacher's activities tailored to encourage their growth as individuals as well as members of a social group. Each child has the opportunity to learn new and exciting skills and to choose the activities. These activities include Gross and Fine motor, Language, Sensory, Music and Movement, Creative Expression, Story Time and Vocabulary. Teachers and children work together in small group to provide individualized attention and child assessments. PRESCHOOLERS The Creative Curriculum, Handwriting without tears and Phonological Awareness Curriculums stimulates learning through physical, social, emotional, and cognitive concept development. We emphasize preparing your child to successfully entering kindergarten. Each classroom is divided into learning centers. This allows children to learn through play activities that interest them. The Pre-K 3 program provides a balance of child initiated and teacher direct activities in daily basis. Letters, colors, shapes, numbers concepts as The Five Senses, are just a few of the important skills you child will learn The Pre-K 4 program is a hands-on approach, recognize letters, numbers concepts, learning science and develop character awareness. The VPK program: we follow guidelines through Florida VPK Readiness standards. Language and Reading are based in the Florida Center of Reading Research (FCRR). Math combine hands on and written activities based on Florida Benchmarks where child develops understanding into pattern.
